AskMyDocs for audit & ca firms
The team changes every season. The client's history shouldn't leave with them.
Article clerks rotate, seniors move on, and every audit season a new team relearns the client from scratch — what was flagged, what management committed to, which treatment was agreed and why. The answers exist in engagement letters, workpapers and management letters; the hours spent re-finding them are hours you can't bill twice.
Ask it like you’d ask a colleague
No search operators, no folder archaeology. Ask in plain language, get the answer with a numbered citation, and click it to read the exact page in the source document — with a permission-checked download if you’re allowed the file.
- New team members ask the engagement's history instead of interrupting whoever did it last year.
- Per-engagement access enforced inside retrieval keeps client files strictly separated.
- The append-only audit log with CSV export evidences who accessed what — useful in your own quality reviews.
It flagged that slow-moving inventory provisioning was not applied consistently across depots [1].

Day one, in three steps
1
Bring the engagement files
Letters, workpapers, client policies and relevant circulars — synced per engagement folder, versioned across seasons.
2
Set the walls
A team per engagement plus per-document grants: an article clerk on one audit never gets answers sourced from another client's files.
3
Onboard by asking
"What treatment did we agree for revenue recognition at Meridian, and why?" — the new senior reads the cited workpaper instead of re-deriving it.
Audit & CA firms questions
Is client confidentiality maintained between engagements?+
Access control runs inside retrieval itself: files outside a person's engagements are never candidates for their answers and never reach the model. "No accessible match" is indistinguishable from "no match".
Can we evidence who accessed what?+
Yes — an append-only audit log records uploads, downloads, denied attempts, permission changes and invites, and exports to CSV.
Do circulars and notifications stay current?+
Upload the latest circular and it becomes the current version; answers cite it by default while the earlier text stays in history for questions about prior periods.
Where is the data stored?+
In AWS's Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, encrypted in transit and at rest, with workspace isolation enforced at the database row level.
